Used for manufacturing sterile plaster bandages, medical prosthesis, hearing aids and limb supports. The Plaster of Paris bandages are of excellent quality and grade.

Plaster of Paris bandages accurately reproduce limbs, both in shape and dimension. They can be used as a cost effective method of obtaining slipper impressions of the patient's feet. Simple immersion in water allows the Plaster of Paris bandages to be wrapped around the lower section of the foot to form a slipper which rapidly dries to a permanent record.

Plaster of Paris bandages are simple and practical to use. They are manufactured through a process of soaking a woven fibre material in a plaster solution. This is then dried. Once the Plaster of Paris bandage is soaked in water and applied to the limb, it hardens rapidly. The bandage does not lose shape as it forms a resistant casting.

The bandages have many uses including excellent mouldability for casts, immobilisation after fractures, treating joint and bone disorders and orthopaedic corrections.
