Colin Webb - CEO
Colin is an experienced Business and Internet professional with a ‘blue chip’ marketing background. Having begun his career with Unilever, Colin has run European Operations and has wide experience of developing branded businesses. He is internationally travelled having worked for 15 years in the UK and 10 years in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America. He gained senior Retail and web experience with the Boots Group as Marketing Director and added Financial Services to his portfolio, running the Web and Marketing at Norwich Union UK. He worked briefly for the World’s leader in Home Shopping; OTTO but, in January 2007 seized the opportunity to take up the reins as CEO for the Mobilis Healthcare Group.
Colin is a qualified professional coach and mentor and has several Non-Exec Responsibilities.
He is married with 3 teenage children and runs to keep the cobwebs away!
Gary Lynch – Group Operations Director
Gary has extensive operational experience with ICL and a number of other companies where he qualified as a Chartered Electronic Engineer.
Working in the UK predominately, servicing blue chip customers across Scandinavia, Europe, the USA and Canada in outsourced electronics manufacturing and supply chain. Key sectors include IT, computing, telecommunications and mobile phones.
Recently Gary was responsible for production of cooking appliances for Glen Dimplex.
Gary is married with two children. His interests include personal fitness, and enjoys helping to train his son’s junior football team.
Patrick Gollop - Chief Operating Officer - Medical
Patrick joined Mobilis in 2000 following the successful restructure of Footman & Co Ltd. As a qualified Podiatrist, he developed his career as a tutor in London with Scholl UK, before taking on a more commercial challenge as National Sales Manager for Sabre Blades.
On the successful turnaround of Sabre, Patrick was appointed Director of the parent Footman business, which was acquired by Mobilis in 2000. Since joining Mobilis, he has built and developed external and internal sales teams, conducted extensive business process re-engineering projects and led a group wide IT implementation.
Patrick retains his links with Podiatry and is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Chiropodists & Podiatrists.
Married with 2 boys Patrick enjoys family life (aka glorified taxi driving) with any spare time being devoted to off road XC Cycling mainly on the local Pennine Routes.
Darren Rose – Group Finance Director
Darren joined the Mobilis organisation in 2002 having worked previously in the mobile phone industry. Darren's financial and managerial experience stems across a number of industries, working 4 years for Fujitsu ICL and 9 years at Ingersoll Rand Europe. Qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant, Darren is committed to continuous professional development, acting as a training partner for his institute.
Darren is married with two children and enjoys time with his family and friends. His interests include golf, outdoor life and cycling. He does not consider himself to be a natural golfer!
Tim Clough – Sales and Business Development Director
Tim has recently joined the management team at Mobilis having spent the majority of the last 16 years within the sports equipment industry. Tim has vast experience in building and developing sales teams, launching and growing brands across both the domestic and International marketplace. Tim believes implicitly in delivering exceptional service levels and developing a 'Go for It'…'Nothing is Impossible' culture within the brands business unit. A passionate sports fanatic, naturally competitive with a real sense of enjoyment in his work.
He is married with two teenage boys, and still tries to play sport to a reasonable standard although he claims it gets harder every year!
Martin Haines – Managing Director, Mobilis Performance
Martin qualified 25 years ago as Remedial Gymnast and Recreational Therapist and 2 years later as a Chartered Physiotherapist. This dual qualification and a special interest in Biomechanics has led him to work in the medical and sports conditioning fields in professional sport for 20 years. In this time he has worked with 5 Olympic Champions winning 9 gold medals. In total he has worked with 11 Olympic medalists, collecting 23 medals between them. In addition he has been the medical and conditioning advisor to leading rugby clubs and soccer teams in the UK. He has consulted to McLaren Formula One Racing Team, looking at their seating design and also the functional training of their F1 drivers. He also works with UK Athletics to train their coaches how to prescribe injury prevention programmes and he runs the Biomechanics education seminars for Professional Golfers in the UK on behalf of the PGA. Martin is a very sought after presenter and has presented globally on the subjects of biomechanics, rehabilitation, conditioning and functional training.
Martin is married with 2 children and as well as being a taxi service for his children, he enjoys fitness training and playing golf.
Etienne Cavelle – National Sales Manager
Etienne joined the Mobilis Healthcare Group in April 2005 as the National Sales Manager for the Medical divisions. He has worked in the Medical sales sector for over 15 years in total and has previous experience in sales and management at both Surgical and Pharmaceutical companies in the UK and International distribution. Etienne’s experience has been in disciplines such as Urology, Gynaecology, General Surgery, as well as Retail Medicine, and since joining Mobilis, Etienne has gained experience in the Physiotherapy & Podiatry markets, along with working with Private companies for new build initiatives.
Etienne enjoys a varied social life outside of work and enjoys time with his 2 children.
Ian Eaves – Managing Director, County Footwear (UK) & Halo Healthcare
Ian was the founder of Medisport International Ltd in 1978, the first company to specialise in sport medicine. This Company, through a process of organic growth and acquisitions, formed the platform for the Mobilis Healthcare Group as we know it today. With a background in medicine, Ian worked for a time in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry and was responsible for the launch of products such as Amoxil, Tagamet, Naprosyn, Fortral and Solpadeine.
In 1974, Ian was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and, in 1994, was made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing for his contribution to the development of the speciality of sports medicine. He is a member of the Mobilis Board of management with special responsibilities for County Footwear (UK) Ltd and Halo Healthcare as their Managing Director.
Ian is married to Carole and they have 4 grown up daughters and 5 grandchildren. He rides horses for relaxation.
Verity Hodder – Marketing Manager - Specialist
Verity Hodder first joined Mobilis in 1997 and verity’s first role was to open and manage a new business unit with the Orthopaedic hospital in Oswestry. Verity stayed with this venture for two years building close relationships with the hospitals physiotherapy department but then left the organisation to further develop her marketing and business knowledge. Verity rejoined the company in 2001 as a product Manager and studied for further marketing qualifications at the Manchester Business School. Verity is now the Marketing Manager of the Specialist Division, working with the specialist team to continuously develop new product initiatives and broaden our target markets.
Verity lives in Manchester with her husband and enjoys being in the great outdoors; including mountain biking, walking or sailing.
Fiona Wiseman – Brands Marketing Manager
Fiona joined Mobilis in 2004 having worked in the healthcare / personal care FMCG arena for the past 7 years with the major grocery retailers. She has over 10 years business to business and consumer marketing experience, and is qualified as a professional marketer in the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Fiona manages the marketing function in the Brand Business Unit to develop and promote our 2 key brands Vulkan and Sorbothane.
